Creating a spa experience at home is healing and relaxing. Add two cups of Epsom salt and 15 drops of an essential oil like lavender into a warm bath and soak for 20 minutes or more. After bath time you can shower with cold water to boost the immune system. After a warm bath or sauna, cold showers feel refreshing and pleasant. Following the cold shower, moisturize with jojoba mixed with quality essential oils.
I’ve also noticed there are a lot of beauty products out there that have vitamin C as their main ingredient, so I decided to make a bath with it. I put about half a cup of vitamin C powder in warm water and soaked for about 30 minutes. After the bath I applied a moisturizer that I made with olive oil as a carrier mixed with lemon essential oil. Next time I plan to take a bath with Moringa powder that is approaching its expiration date. Sometimes when you have good products but you know you won’t be able to consume them internally, try turning them into skincare products and your body will absorb the nutrients transdermally.
