Moissanite Brilliance

Moissanite is regarded as a powerful stone of spiritual evolution, intuitive insights, and higher consciousness, especially attuned to the crown chakra.  Some say Moissanite “stone of the future” that deepens one’s connection to the universe. It is believed to be a potent amplifier of thoughts and intentions, so it is wise to only where it when your frequency is balanced. It is believed to cleanse the mind of negative energy, promoting mental clarity, focus, emotional balance, improved cognitive function, and inspires new ideas and creativity. It is known to promote inner peace, harmony and calm, supporting emotional stability. Some believe Moissanite aids in cellular regeneration, energy flow, and the release of stagnant or blocked energy in the aura. Moissanite is valued as a spiritual cleanser, protecting against negative energies, psychic attacks, and the evil eye. Moissanite pairs well with Black Tourmaline (for protection), Danburite (for divine connection), or Watermelon Tourmaline (for emotional healing).

Moissanite is considered a powerful gemstone in Vedic astrology, primarily associated with the planet Venus (Shukra), which governs love, beauty, wealth, relationships, and luxury. It enhances creativity, confidence, and self-esteem, attracts financial prosperity, romantic harmony, and marital bliss, fosters love, compassion and emotional healing. Moreover, Moissanite supports physical and reproductive health and improves skin complexion. Best worn on Friday (Venus’s day), during Shukla Paksha (waxing moon), preferably in the morning. This stone is recommended  to be set in metals like platinum, silver, or white gold and worn on middle or little finger (right hand for men, left for women).

In 1893 a French scientist Henri Moissan discovered a rare gem while examining rock samples from a meteor crater located in Arizona. It is a gemstone composed of silicon carbide and has a “double refraction.” According to the Gemological Institute of America, Moissanite outperforms all jewels including diamonds in its light dispersion with more brilliance, fire and luster.
