Emerald May Garden

Nature is pretty awesome. During my walks I’ve observed some interesting phenomenon. For example, dandelions are pretty magical. How is it that they go from these honey smelling yellow flowers to these white puffy balls. What happens to the yellow petals? How are they able to transform into these fluffy white seeds. With Marigold flowers, the yellow petals remain and the little needle like seeds are below the petals, but with dandelions they somehow change into something different without any sign of shedding or drying. Also, many trees are releasing seeds. Their seeds are enveloped in this feather shape material that spirals down like a helicopter. As it reaches the grass it lands perfectly with the feather part pointing up and the seed piercing into the soil. How amazing is that? The incredible wisdom of nature in the most simple way.

In the photos below I planted Geranium, Oregano, Snap Dragons, pretty blooming tree in my neighborhood, Dill, Peppermint, Lemon Verbena, Petunias, more pretty tree blooms, Arugula, Lemon Balm, Petunias once again, and Rosemary. And a little spring garden tour video.
